Religion is on a spectrum. Fluid understanding. Our understanding changes depending on our time of life. Students struggle to make the connection between Catholicity and vocational pathways. RE asks them to look at themselves. Group construct.  <a href="http://www.humanreligions.info/what_is_religion.html#Cultural_v_Organized">(1) formally documented doctrine (<em>organized religion</em>) or (2) established cultural practices (<em>folk religion</em>)</a>. Is a way of life. It changes the way we view everything (Nature, clothing, food, relationships, etc.). 4 elements- 1) Beliefs/ A community of believers, 2) practices and rituals, 3) sacred texts, 4) ethical systems. Spiritual need is met by religion.A need for a process to articulate feelings in a way that makes sense. Tradition. Helps us to process a range of complex emotions/situations. Formalities. </div><div><br> </div><div><br> </div>]]></description>
