Historical heritage of racial injustice is so engrained and powerful, and it seems that we need radical solutions in education system to turn it around. But changes can't happen if 1) power to change are held by people who resist it 2) radical changes may bring backfire, as shown by what happened after Brown and almost every little movement 3) the current generation will suffer and sacrifice for future generation to benefit from the radical changes, and people are generally not inclined to do that.

Can change happen in the future if it is not built on incremental changes happening now?
