Noticed teachers off to the side.  Noticing how groups would form within the different spaces. When a child was taking toys, noticed how teachers "let it go." The children solved it on their own, then the teachers reinforced the concept of sharing.  Feels different than what we are used to. *Be notice-ers and wonder-ers
*Acknowledgement what they have done (instead of asking "what did you make?" just provide an invitation to talk about what they have created or invented) 
*Avoid praise ("good job") and rather repeat back what they did. "You made a house." Takes away their need for us to approve. It emphasizes/honors the process over the product. 
*Risky play is okay and can happen indoors, too. “Safe as necessary, not safe as possible.”
*Fun chaos in DS is GREAT!  Okay to remind the older children of the younger children. 
*Avoid: "don't" and "stop" and "be careful". 
*Try: "be mindful" and "take a look" and "remember..." 
*Modeling for caregivers that we are okay with some risky play. But ultimately the caregiver have the most agency with the younger visitor. 
*We are there to facilitate the experiences (not to make sure they are safe or make sure they are using materials "correctly") 
*Would be nice to have a better space for children to "be free" and engage in risky play inside
