How to deal with stress
Tip 1
We can close our eyes and imagine some calm and relaxing scenes. Like a wooden house in a forest, or a wooden bridge on a river. We can make the picture as vivid as possible, with deep breathing, which can help us to relieve stress.
Tip2
We can have a rest for a while, and if it's short, we can have a snack that we like. We can also look at our favorite books or go for a walk outside. When time is enough, we can take a hot bath or watch a favorite TV show. Of course, the most effective way is to find a friend to tell him about your troubles.

Study while using email, looking at Facebook, listening to music, surfing to web.

Victoria Rideout who is an independent research and policy consultant said that she don’t care about combining media together, but she was particularly troubled by its findings regarding media multitasking while doing schoolwork.

Researchers used spyware, and found that almost half of student who had laptops used multimedia tasks while studying.

They also found that rookies used less time on multimedia tasks when they start their study.

David Meyer, a psychology professor at the University of Michigan said “that Under most condition...the prefrontal cortex.” Which means that brain can’t do two complex work at the same time. It will only happen when the two tasks are quite simple and they don’t compete with each other for the same mental resources.

Meyer also said that young people cannot evaluate their brains and working ability properly, they always think that they can do lots of things at the same time. But focusing on one thing is much better that doing lots of stuffs at the same time.

1) Young people may spend much more time on the assignments, Because they waste time on doing other multimedia tasks, when they come back to work, they have to refamiliarize their material.

2) Mistakes are caused by repeatedly dropping and picking assignments, for instance, the formal language in an essay compares with the casual tone in an email.

3) Concentration might be divided. People cannot memorize things they just did properly or even can remember anything. Also they might affect their peers who are looking at what they are doing.

4) People think that they can doing two tasks as better as they are doing one work, but it’s totally wrong. It a psychological stuff.

5) Students who use Facebook, and their GPA is lower than students who focus on study.

Parents cannot intervene what children do on Facebook or other entertaining stuff. Just make sure their cellphone are silent, and video screens are dark and every window is closed but assignment.
