I am one to follow trails and find quiet places when I go out. 

While I was in this small section of land, I began to listen. I heard a lot of smaller sounds like the wind blowing through the leaves and the howls of wind through the holes in the trees. But there is no place that is entirely devoid of human-made sound. 

Not long after I arrived, I heard the sound of a distant train. It wasn't super loud, but I could discern it from everything else. It took me quite a while for me to realize that there were no nearby train tracks, because the longer I listened, the louder it got. 
After the trip to the park, I did some research and discovered that the nearest train track was nearly a 2 miles away. 

If you really listen, you can hear things from very far away. There is a lot of sound pollution everywhere you go. What you decide to pick out is the decision of your mind.
