The teacher will then lead a class discussion based on facts in the video. The teacher will introduce vocabulary terms. Students will help the teacher categorize the needs of three different animals from the video using cut outs on the large board or projector. The teacher will ask strategic questions to assess learning.</p><p>Objective: After watching the Generation Genius video, students will identify the basic needs of animals with 80% accuracy.</p>]]></description>

Student partners will explain to other students what the plants and animals on their paper need and why they think the animal needs those things.
