B. DESCRIPTION OF THE INCIDENT:

Location: Number 7 Workshop

Date: March 28, 2024

Time: 3 p.m

Incident details:

Duc had switched off the machine and was conducting routine checks on the chuck of lathe. Duc saw that one of the connections was broken. Duc started to change it when The Anh switched the machine on. The chuck moved and Duc’s left hand was clamped in it. His hand was seriously injured. There were no witnesses to the accident. However, Duc was screaming in pain and The Anh heard this. He ran to get the first aid kit and he wrapped the injured hand in a loose bandage.

C. CAUSES:

The Anh forgot the safe rule of the workshop that he was turned on the machine without seeing around the machine.

D. RECOMMENDATIONS

To prevent similar occurrences, I suggest the following :

- A refresher course on safety procedures should be conducted.

- The safety rule should be followed by all the staff of the company.

My smart home would be both environmentally sustainable and suitable for a young person such as me. In my opinion, one of the important things in the house of the future is security, I think so because if we own that house, criminals won’t be able to access or break into our house. Besides, my smart home has fingerprint lock technology, thieves won’t be able to cut or break like another traditional locks. Moreover, the artificial intelligence technology used in my home can make the devices in the house controlled through voice or actions. For example, when I want to take a shower, it will set the room temperature to the ideal temperature and adjust the water temperature to suit me or it will also darken the windows at night and lighten them when you wake up in the morning light without using curtains. However, all devices in my smart house are designed in a modern style with eco-friendly and energy-saving recycled materials. In my mind, it will help me not pay much for energy. I like this kind of home because it can do our life easier and more comfortable.

I would like to write about a medical robot. It’s name is UV Disinfectant bots. Currently, there is a high demand for UV disinfectant robots such as hospitals, schools and offices because the worldwide are fighting the bacteria and viruses. This robots will move automatically to rooms of patients who are discharged then use the high-powered UV rays for several minutes to clean rooms until no microorganism is alive. With the UV Disinfectant bots, physicians, nurses and staffs will have more time to focus on other important duties such as tending to patients. UV disinfectant has been used for decades to sterilize air, water and surfaces. UV disinfectant bots are helping to protect patients and staffs in hospitals and operating rooms worldwide.
