     ‌         Birmingham Climate

The climate of Birmingham is temperate. In winter, it is cold and rainy, but we do not have harsh weather. In the summer, the temperatures are generally higher, on average 21 C. It can also rain, albeit a little less often than in the winter.

An average high temperature in the winter is between 5 and 7 C . The coldest month in Birmingham is January and the warmest months are July and August. The wettest month in Birmingham is October.

Birmingham started life as a market town.There is evidence of early human activity in the Birmingham area dating back to around 8000 BC. 
By 1791 Birmingham was was considered the first manufacturing town in the world.
Loyd's Bank was founded in town in 1765, which is the world's first building society. In addition, the Watt steam engine was invented in Birmingham in 1776.
Birmingham continued to develop in the 19th and 20th century. However, between 1940 and 1943 it was bombed by the Germans. Even the Bullring was destroyed during this war.
Birmingham was redeveloped during the 1950s,1960s.

Birmingham is a great place to begin exploring the many tourists attractions to be enjoyed in the cotswolds and Malvern hill areas, especially by canals.
It has 35 miles of canals , which is said to be more than Venice.

Also Birmingham has many famous places such as the European largest public library (Library of Birmingham), Victoria Square , Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery and Symphony Hall is one of the world's best concert halls.

In addition, one of Birmingham's most visited tourist attractions is the National Sealife.
Moreover, Birmingham has 571 parks, Such as Cannon Hill Park,  Botanical Gardens and Birmingham wildlife Conservation park. 

Birmingham has the biggest cricket ground in the UK and Ski restort, at Ackers Outdoor Activity  Centre.
