         <description><![CDATA[<div>Roman trade was the engine that led to the economy of the Republic and the beginning of the Empire. The fashions and trends in historiography and popular culture have tended to deal with the economic base of the Empire in favor of the lingua franca, which was Latin, and the exploits.<br>Both the language and the legions were supported by commerce, being at the same time part of its spine. The Romans were businessmen and the longevity of their empire was due to trade.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>To learn more about this culture, we will review some data that were relevant at this time:</div><div>·        <strong>Food</strong>: Roman cuisine was based on staple foods such as barley or peas, sheep's milk cheese, boiled lamb meat, cereals, wheat</div><div>·        <strong>Clothing: </strong>The men wore a tunic and a shoulder-length gown over the top, while the women wore a simple ankle-length robe and a headscarf.</div><div>·        <strong>Sports: </strong>They used to participate in athletics, gladiator fighting, and fighting wild animals.</div><div>·        <strong>Music: </strong>Music had a strong influence on the Romans. They made sure that it had happy melodies and were improving their instruments more and more.</div><div>·        <strong>Art:</strong> In his art, he highlighted the beauty and perfection of people. They dealt with religious and mythological themes in human forms, focusing on men, making them look perfect.</div><div>·        <strong>Architecture: </strong>They considered human recreation important, so they built circuses, theaters, coliseums, etc. They sought to represent the majesty and power of their empire through engravings on the walls, in addition to having a high level of protection, health, and leisure.<br><br></div>]]></description>
