The first competence I would like to explain is self-awareness and self-efficacy. Motivation and motivating are very important. Having a goal to reach and making all the necessary to succeed in it help students in believing in their own potentialities. As a teacher it's necessary to undestand the weakeness of each students and transform them intocstrenghtness for the classroom . Never underline students' limits but highlight their talents. Once a project has been chosen, you, as a teacher, you need to strongly believe in it and persuade your students of the possibility of realise it.
The second competence is related to the first one. With the right motivation, students can make everything. They have to undestand that mistakes and failures can happen at school and in life but with perseverance you can improve and reach the prefixed goals. Having a positive attitude is a key factor.

Motivation and perseverance: I think this is one of the resources that the children in my class need to work on the most. Some of them have a tendency to give up quite easily or ask for the answers to a problem if they don't get it right the first time. I think resilience, the ability to keep trying, look for a solution and know that you will eventually get there is a pricless skill for children to learn both in and out of the classroom.

Financial and economic literacy is in my opinion fundamental , since many of us, not only students, are almost illiterate in the field. Sometimes I have underlined in my classes that something is also worth what others are willing to pay for it. There is thus a difference between value and price. Secondly, I value enormously the competence of mobilizing others , since it coalesces every form of communication, like non-verbal communication, about which we have spoken in the class , emphasizing its role in every aspects of our life.

Be passionate and enthusiast about what we are up to. That's crucial. To stay motivated working in group is sometimes the best way to overcome negative feelings related to low self estee. Sharing doubts and ideas whether they are good or not is crucial. We need feedback as teachers as well. Resilience...that's really important. Thinking about all the times that I thought I was not good at something.. So today I would say...never doubt your goal. So Motivation, Resilience, Financial literacy...all that is essential if we want to develop our own skills and the other ones. Enthusiasm....When I was a student I attended many lessons where teachers were devoid of enthusiasm. We cannot become good teachers if are not enthusiast about what we are up to.

In Sweden we have plenty and maybe the young ones lack resilience and perseverance because they don´t know how it is not to have everything, how it is to struggle and to fail. You really need perserverance and resilience in life. And we must encourage them not to give up, give them courage to try and fail!
Mobilizing others also important because the visions you have must be accompinied by others, we need each other to succeed. We need to have people around us who cheer us up and give us strength to continue. Many students have that competence and we have to make sure that they know they have it or that they can develop it regardless of the theoretical marks and results we measure in school.

For me, the first two are the competences you need to build solid foundations. You need to believe in yourself and keep developing so that you have confidence and manage to gather the resources you need or inspire others and even learn all the financial -economic literacy you need. Perseverance and motivation are ssurely the most important key to success in any endeavor. They are at the basis of success... you have set your goal, then continually reaffirm to yourself that you wish to finish the task or reach the objective. You should be active and optimistic, you have to move forward taking the risk to fail. It’s like learning to ride a bike. Most of us made many attempts to obtain the skills of riding a bicycle, but we showed perseverance, which led us to success, and at the end we learned to ride a bike. The way to success can’t be without failures. The most important thing is to learn from these failures and to continue moving forward. Do not give up. Take the necessary lesson, and move on toward success. The key means to develop perseverance is doing small steps, this means learning something new each day and resulting in small achievement. Small achievements form a big success. Think about creating a puzzle: you add part by part and finally get the final image.
