The intention of the artwork is to begin conversations in families and also have an option for spanish speaking people who need protection and privacy that are possibly dealing with legal status issues and have a family with mixed legal status 

The purpose of this project is to normalize getting resources and talking openly about mental health, the POC community deserves to feel heard and seen regardless of their legal status and the language they speak. This project would help the BIPOC community with normalizing mental health concerns, stigma in this community is only setting apart the generations and it could be very healing and helpful if everyone had the access and understood the importance of mental health there will be less misunderstandings in communication within families to cope with the stresses of the BIPOC latinx experience.
