         <description><![CDATA[<div>&nbsp;Il licopene è uno degli <strong>antiossidanti</strong> più diffuso <strong>nei vegetali rossi.</strong> Viene classificato tra i carotenoidi, ossia dei pigmenti naturalmente prodotti da numerosi vegetali, responsabili dei diversi colori che assumono numerosi ortaggi, la frutta e alcune verdure. I carotenoidi hanno una funzione antiossidante, sono in grado, cioè, di eliminare efficacemente i radicali liberi, molecole nocive che procurano numerosi danni strutturali nelle cellule e nei tessuti. Gli antiossidanti proteggono i componenti cellulari offrendo all’attacco dei radicali liberi i propri legami chimici.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
