         <title>Early Years Education</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>provision and entitlement<br>children of early years age are entitled to access to the following members of staff if needed,&nbsp;<br>- pre school teacher<br>- education administrator<br>- teachers assistants<br>- childcare director&nbsp;<br>- child and family social worker<br>- social and human services assistant<br>- guidance counciller&nbsp;<br>- personal care aid&nbsp;<br>- nursery teacher&nbsp;<br>- special eduaction teacher&nbsp;<br>All 3 and 4 year olds in England are entitled to 570 hours of funded early education or child care a year - 15 hours a week and 38 weeks out of 52. Ofsted inspection must be at least satisfactory. Their is help available to pay for childcare with all registered schools, child-minders etc.<br>They can get in to the school by finding forms from the local pre school education provider or online at - education authority website. Availble from november for starting the following September. Paper copy is available a few days later,&nbsp; these must be handed in by noon on the 11th january and you are required to list three schools and hand in to the prefered school.&nbsp; The school must hold a small number of reference booklets which contains admission criteria for parents to view. This is available at all types of pre-school settings, both statutory&nbsp; (nursery schools or nursery units attached to primary school) and non statutory (voluntry or private providers) All children of age one to three must have a ratio of 3:15 (Three member of staff to every fifteen children)<br>Some of the legistlations that link to EYFS are;<br>- childrens act 2004<br>- data protection 1998<br>- disability discrimination act 1995<br>- health and safety at work act 1974<br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <title>POST- 16 EDUCATION ( SCHOOL LEAVING YEAR)</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>At the age of 16 young people are able decide on which pathway they want to go. School leaving age depends on where you may be located, e.g. Scotland, Northern Ireland etc.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;The pathways they choose will sometimes be based on the following:<br>- your GCSE grades.<br>- the way you like to learn.<br>-where you may want to work or study later.<br><br>The pathways you are required by law to do:<br>- Apprenticeship&nbsp; and traineeship( They are paid, so offer the opportunity to learn while bringing in a wage.)<br>- College<br>- Spend 20 hours or more a week working or volunteering, while in part-time education or training<br>- A - levels.<br>- Part time education or full time education.<br><br>Not everyone at the age of 16 can work if they are not part of the EU or have a work permit. Young people at the age of 16 that wants to continue education are allowed to apply for 16- 19 bursary fund to help support you with transport and food expenses,&nbsp; and equipment required for the course. But they are not able to decide on the amount you can get.&nbsp;<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <title>Educational stages of a primary school</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><br>Early years foundation stage are classes nursery and reception. The early years foundation stage sets the standards for learning and development of children from birth to 5years of age. Al schools and Ofsted registered early years providers must follow the EYFS, this includes child minders and everyone involved in care of a child.<br> Key stage 1 is made up of class year groups 1,2 and 3 which are ages 5-7years. <br>key stage 2 is made up of class year 4,5 and 6 which are age 8-11 years. <br>at the end of ks 1 and 2 all students take standard assessment test (SATS) in the core subjects of English, mathematics and science.<br>The legistlation that follows is the eyfs 2014 which was updated in 2014.<br>there are 17 early learning goals which are part of the eyfs profile. <br> <br><br><br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>School support staff- school support staff play an important role to all school students by keeping them safe and giving them support whilst in the learning environment they make positive trusting relationships and improve the school climate by encouraging parents and family involvement in education.<br>Teaching assistants often aid a class teacher by taking small groups of children who need support academically such as in literacy or numeracy. these children will get further support either in the class with the ta or out of class. this may also include work with children with SEN as the class teacher cannot always accomidate these children in the class. <br>SENCO- a special eduacational needs co ordinator, is a teacher who is responsible for special educational needs at schools. all schools have a senco and they work with other teachers and parents making sure that pupils with special educational needs get the right help they need at school.<br>Teacher- Teacher motivate learners to develop their aspiration and ability to learn. they also plan and prepare teaching and learning activities, taking account of the needs and well being of individual learners as well as groups of learners. they carry out initial and/or diagnostic assessment.</div>]]></description>
