B1: Darcy's loyalty - he is sticking with Lizzy through the social shame he might experience. For example, Lady Catherine De Borough shaming both Lizzy and Darcy for their engagement.

B2: Darcy willing to do anything for those he loves- again, Darcy will stick with Lizzy despite the fact that his status might be elevated by marrying Lady Catherine's daughter or he might get more money from another girl. None of this matters to him because he loves Lizzy.

BP1: Darcy sets the record strsight with this letter, he comes around to the idea that he is arrogant and needs to change. He makes this change because he's willing to sacrifice his social standing and go agaisnt De Bourgh

BP2: This effects the story as a whole because it shows that chjaracters can change if they has the means to. Darcy does have these means becaus he is in love with eliza. However a character liek de bourgh does not have these means since she is stuck with the idea that everyone must marry within their own class and has this mass prejudice against others. Darcy can sacrifice his intial morals, and the letter shows that.

BP1: An example of Darcy's character values is best depicted when he goes against his mom despite her showing up to Elizabeth's home and trying to reason her out of engagement with Mr. Darcy. Darcy's mom visiting Elizabeth in hopes to convince her not to marry Darcy

BP2: Another example of Darcy's values is the comparison between Mr. Darcy at the ball and Mr. Darcy at the end

T1: There was a clear class difference between the household of Longbourn and the household of Pemberley, and Mr. Darcy takes this with pride early on.

E1: He had to sacrifice this difference in his first proposal with Elizabeth.

T2: Mr. Darcy originally held heavy amounts of prejudice towards Elizabeth after his first meeting her at the ball.

E2: He went from considering her "tolerable" to sacrificing his prejudice to find his true love.

T3: Over time, his ideology shifted, and he began following his heart instead of his status.

E3: His second proposal made no mention of status and came true from the heart.

When Kirsten attacks the people keeping Sayid captive, it shows her determination to make sacrifices for people she loves and was an important step for her being reunited with the Symphony (continuing her journey).

Kirsten demonstrates the respect she has for the people she has killed with her knife tattoos, one for each person. This shows how she recognizes the sacrifices she has made and is grateful that they led to her current happiness, safety, and community.

T1: Lydia's carelessness in her pursuit of Wickham emphasize how she never thought about her actions and does not care about how her boy craziness can negatively affect her reputation.

Ex: She ran off with Wickham without being married, ruining her reputation and putting her entire family in distress. She didn't think about how it would affect her and her family, showing how important it is to think about how your actions affect others.

T2: Lydia flaunting her marriage afterwards and rubbing it in her sisters' faces shows how she still didn't care about the negative affects of her actions, showing how selfish she is.

Ex: Lydia bragged about being a married woman while her sisters were still single. She was proud of this marriage even though it caused so much stress for her family and was only the result of their scandalous eloping. Her inability to have shame for her actions shows how she's careless and has no regard for the consequences of her actions.

Topic 1: Jeevan was sacrificing his ability to follow his passion and care for others by looking after Frank.

Evidence 1: how Jeevan aspires to greater things than looking after Frank.

Kristen is prepared to sacrifice her life to save her friend, which shows her selfness, a rare quality in a post apocalyptic world.

B1- Darcy saving the Lydia situation- He helps out Lydia for Elizabeth so she doesn't have to bare the shame nor her family. He puts his pride behind him here because he is known to dislike Mr. Wickham and still chooses to help and give him the money he needs all for Elizabeth.

B2- Even after being told by a woman high in society, Lady Catherine, that he shouldn't marry her and was supposed to have a set arranged marriage with her daughter because of wealth Mr. Darcy kept his feelings for Elizabeth overlooking her social standing and money.

• Elizabeth's willingness to do anything for the people in her family. She walks to see Jane instead of taking the carriage showing her true dedication.

• Because of Elizabeth and Janes strong relationship, Elizabeth travels alone instead of with her family which was very unconventional of her at the time.

1) Darcy has pride. At the beginning in the ball, he wouldn't dance with Lizzy and was very reserved about who he would talk to.

2) Darcy loves Lizzy, so he gives the money to set aside his pride. He writes a letter to Lizzy to express his love for her.

In Station Eleven, all of the people stuck in the Severn City Airport sacrificed their personal items to cultivate the Museum of Civilization. Their willingness to part with their belongings shows how tragedy can bring people together in their efforts to preserve the past.

Paragraph 1:

In the weeks after the virus hit, residents of the airport realized they no longer had a need for their personal items. For example, phones were unless because all the cell towers were down. So in an effort to preserve the past, peoples phones, shoes, chargers, IDs, bags, etc. began to collect in what would become the Museum of Civilization.

Paragraph 2:

The airport/museum became a space of comfort for the curator, Clark. It was his way of remembering his boyfriend who died from the virus. The museum also becomes a place for young kids to learn about the world pre-pandemic.

1: Darcy refuses to dance with Elizabeth the first time they meet, and makes comments about her appearance and status.

2: Darcy proposes to Elizabeth, making her feel like she should say yes because he is oo good for her, but willing to put that aside to marry her.

BP1: Elizabeth's determination to see her sister and the meaning behind how she got there. For example her walking instead of taking a carriage which would usually be expected.

BP2: Elizabeth's values are shown by her making it a priority to see her sister instead of focusing on herself or other things.

TS1: When Mr.Darcy gives Elizabeth the letter, it was originally in the hopes that she would see how he wasn’t the kind of  man who would do things with the intention to harm someone.
