She starts talking about thr Holocaust and talks about how innocent people were killed in those days. Adolescents felt interested on the topic and for that reason Mrs. Gruwell introduced some books about that terrible time in history. Adolescents were attracted and interested in that kind of readings.
To sum up, by taking into account that experience, we must have clear that knowing our students is something important. Moral development is an important part of the socialization process. The film shows how people learn to decide what is right ant what is wrong. The students become aware of others' feelings and take those into consideration to determine what is good or bad.
