The Danakil Depression is the northern part of the Afar triangel.

Ethiopia is the most crowded landlocked country in the world located in Africa.
It is said to be one of the oldest nations in Earth whereby it is believed to have been founded around 980 B.C.
Ethiopia borders Eritrea on its north and northeast corners and Djibouti and Somalia on the eastern side.

The Snake Island

The snake island is in Brazil.The ‘Ilha da Queimada Grande’, or Snake Island, located just off the coast of Sao Paolo, Brazil. At first glance it may seem like a paradise, but the reality is far less idyllic.

nfested with between 2,000 and 4,000 golden lancehead vipers, one of the deadliest snakes in the entire world, Snake Island is a writhing deathtrap. One bite from one of these vipers is enough to shut down the nervous system, and the venom is even said to melt human flesh.

Access to the island has been banned by the Brazilian government, apart from a select few scientists who monitor the snakes.

Kilauea is around 4,200 feet above sea level and eight miles around. At the very top is a caldera that is more than three miles by three miles wide. A caldera is a large crater, or pit, formed from a collapse in the volcano. Lava sits about 740 feet below the edge of the caldera.
