With traditional lab, might sometimes be a problem to use PLDs as students can be careless and spill chemicals on their devices, etc. However, with microscale and the stability of the microscale template, students could potentially use their PLDs as part of their microscale experiments. For example, students could take photos and upload photos and make their own summary of colour of different salt precipitates.
