SEBASTIAN  We would so, and then go a-batfowling.
ANTONIO,  to Gonzalo Nay, good my lord, be not angry.
GONZALO  No, I warrant you, I will not adventure my
discretion so weakly. Will you laugh me asleep?
For I am very heavy" (2.1.202-206). This shows the scene where Aerial uses his magic to make Gonzolo fall asleep by the orders of Prospero.


Power is shown in Act 3 of the tempest when Aeriel uses his magic to control Trinculo and forces him to say things he doesn't want to say. Power is also shown by Stephano when he uses Caliban's lack of knowledge to control him. In the text, it says, 
"Enter Ariel, invisible.
CALIBAN, kneeling As I told thee before, I am subject
to a tyrant, a sorcerer, that by his cunning hath
cheated me of the island.
AERIEL, [in Trinculo’s voice] Thou liest.
CALIBAN, [to Trinculo] Thou liest, thou jesting monkey,
thou. He stands. I would my valiant master would
destroy thee. I do not lie.
STEPHANO   Trinculo, if you trouble him any more in ’s
tale, by this hand, I will supplant some of your
teeth.
TRINCULO   Why, I said nothing." (3.2.45-55).
