Hannah, I love your class!
When I was studying my undergraduate, I rarely came across feminist economics. I do know there is heterodox economics, but I never get the chance to have a closer look at it.
I have always liked studying economics and think it's very crucial to our society. However, I don't like the ideology they are promoting. Later, I know that what I've been studying is mainstream capitalist economics. This class allows me to take know what's troubling me. As a woman, studying your class, gender economics, is very empowering. I feel like I'm liberated from what I was previously taught. This is exactly what I'm looking for when I apply to study in SOAS.
Your lecture and seminars are well structured, the notes are easy to follow and I like how you guide us to prepare for our tutorials. You always ask us to think beyond what you've taught. In the tutorials, you ask questions that can lead us to think a little bit further, really appreciate it.
Thanks for all the hard work in preparing the lectures and tutorials.
