They had it in their minds that she was a spy, and no-matter what she did that stayed the same. There was nothing she could do to make them believe her.

She decided to "cooperate" just to get herself out of prison. she was desperate. It shows that if you wear people down they will do anything. They start to lose their logic. It is crazy how she had to make up so many lies for her interrogators to be satisfied. I definitely got the feeling that what they were doing was not legal. She is also put together with another woman and her mother. They begin to tell her their story. It is very similar which i was both surprised and not surprised. Most if not all of then were in prison for non legit reasons such as Saberi, which i thought was very interesting. I looked up one of the inmates "Silva" on Google, and there was a campaign for her to be released. She tells him the real story, and how her interrogators won't let her tell her family the truth. I personally think that she shouldn't be so sure that she can trust him. She knew that she did the right thing even though it might mean a longer time in prison for her. I thought it was interesting how her interrogators claimed that they knew she was bluffing the whole time. I can't think of a reason why they would let that go on.
