Most people in their lives have to be focused, or “in the zone” to progress and make discoveries. It is always okay to be patient, since rushing into things does not always solve everything. In a book, a man once ran into a fight and almost got killed. Having patience and waiting for others, no matter how annoying they may be, may help you get further in life than just running in.     - Everyone faces difficult challenges in life. It’s how we learn and grow. When we face difficult challenges, we most definitely make choices, which yields the possibility of making a bad decision and making mistakes. But, as the saying goes, “fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.” The saying means that if you are duped twice, that means that you haven’t learned from your mistakes.  Facing difficult decisions is a part of life, and while it is easier, we learn more from our mistakes than any teacher will ever tell you in any classroom
    - When in a group, more things are possible. In a story I once read, two boys who despised each other had to work together to escape an invisible maze. One of them was too short to reach, while the other would get too exhausted to get over all the maze walls. They would have never made it out of the maze if they hadn’t worked together. So, yes being part of a group is better than being alone.
    - When making choices, the person can make a wrong or right one. While most would like to make the correct choice in life, if a wrong one is made, then you learn and wont make the mistake again. In life we make many choices, but not all of them will be right, Having your own free will will always be better than having to have it made for you.

  • I definitely agree with this statement, because if you are patient, you will come off as kind and supportive. Conversely, if you were impatient, people would see you as rude and will not want to be your friend.

  • I agree, because lots of the time when you are patient you learn more or do better in general. Patient people tend to experience less depression and negative emotions, perhaps because they can manage better with upsetting or stressful situations.

In other words,The quote means that if you work for something, you will learn so much more from searching for something rather than  that something to be given to you.  Dallben said this to inform Taran that he can learn more from searching for his title as a warrior instead of actually being given that title right away. He will learn more if he does it himself.
