They way that I prepare rice is I add some oil to a big enough pan. Add 2 cups of rice. Mix it until it turns a light brown then I add 2 cans of tomato sauce. Stir it until it starts to bubble up. Add 4 cups of water. Put some cilantro and basil seasoning , a spoonful of garlic, chicken powered, and a pinch on salt and mix it all together. Cover it up and leave it on low heat. I'm no Gordon Ramsey but I can make rice a roni from a box mix. I take a medium size pan, turn burner on medium/high heat, then add some butter and the rice mix. Then i add like two cups of water with the seasoning mix. Then put the lid on and simmer on medium/low heat for about twenty minutes. After timer goes off, i turn the burner off and remove pan from the heat and let it set for about ten minutes.

First you grab 2 cups of water for every cup of rice you want to make then you grab a pot deep enough to house the ingredients then you pour in the rice and water. Cover the pot and boil the rice till it's soft. Then you can add tomato sauce and chicken or anything else you want to eat it with.

I make rice by washing the rice in a bowl with water, rinsing it multiple times until the water comes out clear. Once the rice is cleaned I put the rice in a pot with hot water. After that I then add some seasoning mix. I let that cook with the lid on for about 8 min. When its not too soggy or hard I turn that off and wait for it to cool. Usually we eat Mexican rice which is cooked by my mom but sometimes I make it with her.I notice that most people use a pot to make their rice but instead of a pot we use a pan since my mom always uses a pan but also because a pan is wider which makes it easier to obverse the rice as it's cooking.First we would place the pan on the stove, then turn the stove on and set it at 6 maybe 7.We then will add oil to the pan let it heat up a little, while it heats up a bit we would rince the rice maybe twice or three times, or till the water runs clean. The most common way we make rice is white rice because of my picky brother. We have a rice cooker at home so typically I'll start by adding rice to the bowl inside of it. I measure w my heart. Then I wash and rinse the rice until white water turns clear. Then we put clean water in (water should go above the rice by like half of your finger or something. But also measure with my heart) next put a timer on the rice cooker and let it cook.

Typically it's paired with anything we have. Pork or chicken mostly.

But the best way to pair it is with adobo chicken. It's a Filipino dish that I cook a lot in my family. We serve it like this:

I forgot how exactly to make rice, my parents taught me how, I'll try my very best to explain it. I add the rice with a deep drying pan. I try to wash it beforehand but if I'm in a rush I wont then I put the rice in a pot with water then boil it until all the water is gone and its nice and fluffy then I either mix it with some sort of meat and other things to make a sort of stir fry or I mix it with honey and other sweet things to make a quick sweet. I first grab a pan and fill it with a little bit of oil, just enough to cover the pan. Then I let the pan heat up a little bit and throw in 1 cup of rice. I then put onion in it to give it some flavor. Once it starts browning I add the tomato sauce and water or substitute the water with chicken broth. since I did one cup of rice, I'll double the amount of water or chicken broth. Next I add the onion powder, garlic powder and chicken bouillon (I don't measure, i'm Mexican lol). Lastly I lower the fire so it can boil on low, then once most of the water is evaporated, I turn off the stove and viola you have orange rice! -Ariana Magana
