*Academic Notebooks-  These notebooks are an accumulation of notes, reactions, questions, and self-reflections that students update throughout  the unit, term, or school year.

Students can also use speech-to-text apps to move their thoughts to a document. For example, Dragon Dictation is an app students could use. There is also online word processing in Google Drive and note taking apps like Evernote to allow students to organize and record new knowledge. Mindjet is a mind-mapping tool students could use to create diagrams in order to connect supporting details to the main idea of a topic. Online publishing is another tool students can use in order to collaborate with one another using technology.

*Academic Notebooks- Digital notebooks can be made using Google Drive. In addition, students could use video recording in order to have an audio journal or a video log.

*Dramatic Enactments- Students could have a digital portfolio that allows them to edit and revise before they are displayed to the class and/or parents. Depending on your class and their age, this might not be a necessity. Also make sure your students know how to publish Wiki spaces and use them correctly. I have used Google Drive for writing with note taking and the students have enjoyed it. It organizes their thoughts really well when used correctly.

*Academic Notebooks- When using an academic notebook, students can get easily distracted and go off topic. Make sure you set your guidelines and students know what they need to be discussing. The text-to-speech is a wonderful tool that most of my students have used. However, make sure students aren't right next to one another when using this tool because the computers can pick up someone else's words if they're too close. I would use academic notebooks for students to reflect on what they have currently learned that day, or even as specific as a content area.

*Dramatic Enactments- I have used Green Screens before so students had a different strategy to display their learning. I recommend that you give students a clear outline of what they need to be able to present to you. You might also want the help of another teacher in your building for monitoring purposes. A way you could use Green Screens is for social studies and have them act out, or make a video, of how economics impacts our society.
