Netiquette is most commonly understood as "internet etiquette" or the polite and proper way to type on the internet. All forms of the internet are effected by netiquette, from emails to social media to multiplayer gaming. Guidelines to abide by for netiquette include being clear and kind, and always avoid cyber-bullying. Netiquette also relates to copyright laws and suggests against the overusing emoticons. https://techterms.com/definition/netiquette
https://www.techopedia.com/definition/25061/netiquette
Picture #2:
https://www.tvcc.edu/Distance-Learning/article.aspx?a=4771&z=154&d=151

1. Netiquette includes NOT USING CAPS IN RANDOM PLACES because IT MAKES IT SOUND LIKE YOU ARE YELLING at the reader.
2. Respect people's privacy on the internet. Don't post other people's pictures that aren't yours or that have other people's face in it without their permission.
3. Over Posting
      3a. or spamming
      3b. can be
      3c. super annoying
      3d. and no one
      3e. likes it.
4.

Emma:
I didn't know that there was a proper term in regards to how you are supposed to act on the internet. I am really surprised that it is important to use netiquette when it comes to multiplayer gaming.
Erin:
I agree with multiple forms of internet Netiquette. We all have our own "language" we use to talk to close friends or family, but there is a time to be proper and respectable. For example, it can be annoying as a teacher when reading papers that are filled with contractions or spelling errors. Or when texting someone and they plague you with 20 texts in a row, it can come off as very annoying and not polite.

Erin: It is important to be aware of what you are doing on the internet and who you are working with. Schools block certain websites or applications that students can not use during school, there are ways around this by using data from your phone plan, but schools can only control this so far. Also, I noticed this as well during computer classes or classes we had access to computers in. There were multiple websites we were not allowed to use. I highly recommend making everyone of your accounts private it possible.
Emma: All throughout my internet use in school, I have always recognized that there were certain websites that we were not able to access as students. What I didn't realize was that the blocks where there because of a law and not because of my school district. I think that this is a good law to have especially with the growing internet and the age of internet users. In regards to Digital Law, I believe that it is something every knows about but besides plagiarism, no one is really afraid of. Students will pirate movies and illegally download movies all the time. And although that is wrong, how do we stop that from happening

     Lesson on Netiquette

One lesson an educator could teach regarding an aspect of Netiquette would be to have them make a "post" on 4 different types of social media. Students will create a fake post or comment on a classmates post on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Snapchat. Without using the actual technology, a teacher will have 4 pieces of chart paper decorated to look like each social media site. Student will make a post that reflects Netiquette and write down their top three Netiquette rules to bring home and hang next to the family computer, or refrigerator.

Digital laws relationship to children and internet safety is the responsibility to deal with things online. Students at school are taught the basic ethics on Digital law and how to use it.
Digital laws relationship to digital citizenship is pick and choose. A digital citizen is someone who uses the internet ever. Some internet users will follow all of the rules regarding digital law, some will pick and choose and others will disregard the laws altogether. Take movies as an example, Some people will never watch a movie illegally on line, while other will do it only for a movie that can't wait to see, and then some will watch every movie illegally. I believe that with the internet comes responsibility especially coming to laws like Digital Law which protects the creators.
