         <description><![CDATA[<div>Starting middle school, my summers would be overseas. My family is from Ecuador where we have two schools. One is a public school in the city and another one is a private bilingual school. My mother would send me there so that I can work on my Spanish and not have to worry about being alone all summer. As my whole family were educators and principals, I had to study everyday like I was still in school. Grandma was a chemistry teacher so it was mandatory everyday :(</div>]]></description>

Summers of high school were back in Ecuador, but this time as an assistant teacher in my family’s school. I helped in English classes and monitoring arrivals and dismissals.</div>]]></description>

I attended Northern Virginia Community College and worked full time. My focus was on work rather than school so grades declined. </div>]]></description>

I believe this was a wakeup call on what I wanted to do in my career. I regret studying Business Administration, and should have pursued my career in education. </div>]]></description>
