Personally, I hope in the future this situation isn't something I as a student have to worry about whist traveling to school every morning. I am constantly thinking, "am I next?", and that is something that someone as young as me shouldn't have to worry about. I hope that stricter controls for youth access to guns, better detections of the impact of social media radicalization, and better access to mental health resources is put into effect to hopefully prevent this issue from becoming constant as the world progresses.
