I am 18 years old and still got a lot of learning to do. I went to Sint-Pieterscollege (Jette), that was a good school. They learned me everything that I needed to know to be a part of this world. My favorite subjects then were psychology and math. I was very good in these two.

Types of teachers

I read the text about the 14 types of teachers. There are a lot of teachers and each one of them is different. Some of them spend a lot of time in all the needed materials. They make sure that the classroom is a fun place to be.
Others are more concentrated on their students. They would do anything for them. Every teacher also has difficulties. They state that also in the text. Every teacher has a moment of stress and complains sometimes. Sometimes it is even that bad, that they have a burn-out. I recognize myself in the heartfelt teacher. I would do anything for my 'children'.

PLN

I have informed myself about the 'PLN'. It is your own personal learning network. The most interesting question around this is: "What's the point of it?". So I read that article. It clearly has a lot of advantages. You can learn with simple platforms that are used everyday like Twitter. Here you can share your experiences with real life human beings. They can give you tips and help you further. You are also probably going to get inspirited by other stories. You can learn out of everything that you've read.

I personally dont have an account on twitter . Maybe later, when I'm practicing the job, I will make one. I think it could be a handy tool to share your own experiences and ideas with others. They can help you further in your career.
But on the other hand, I think Facebook may be easier to use. Facebook is way more popular and simple. I think you can reach way more people like that.

I read the article that talks about the 3 reasons why to use social media. Social media helps you with your professional development. It's also simple to use because: it's teacher-facilitated, it's convenient and self-directed. You can use it whenever you want, whenever you feel like it. There also special groups for teachers to share their experiences with each other. And last but not least, you are your own boss. You decide whom you get in contact with, what you share etc..
It's a great tool to grow in life in general.
