I really don't think this country is stable.. It seems to be closer to going down in flames. I shall quote myself ranting about this: "to me it's clear how this is going to go, every time there is an election it will be neck to neck and then once a different side wins, the 2 sides will be pitted against each other till the next election
and then if one side wins in a row, the other side will only have more incentive to do everything they can to undermine the other side
how is this a functional form of government??
our government is so concentrated on getting their color (blue/red) representation in office, not actually on introducing legislation for the better of the country
and even when they do introduce legislation, it's a slow process that makes it impossible to get anything passed
we can't have a president with half our population trying to think of ways to assassinate them
this shouldn't be how a country goes
it's just like building an eventual explosion when one sides loses their sanity
