The article shares the experience of African Americans during the Revolutionary War period.  I would suggest turning into an infographic or even an interactive Peardeck to share the information with students.  A Peardeck would allow your students the ability to annotate on the text and/or show their comprehension of the text.</div>]]></description>

I would create a Google Slide deck with information on each individual.  I would then create 7 groups and ask those students research their hero, write a short summary of their life, including background information on their life as well as what they are famous for and the importance of that reason.  They would then present to the class and the class would compare and contrast their heroes.</div>]]></description>

Under each lesson it gives the intended audience range.  I would consider using "Reconciling History: The Founding Fathers."
