This Multi Genre is a collection of many genres that take part in Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare and applied them to other literature. This literature is not all connected and some can be seen as separate pieces with only connections to Romeo and Juliet. Although I strongly believe that each one helps to demonstrate the thought that love can make you do irrational things as explained in the multi-genre collections

Why do we still read Romeo and Juliet?

We still read Romeo and Juliet for many reasons. One of those reasons is that we learn that love is like a flower. If you nertutre it and give it what it needs it can flourish and be beautiful. But no matter how hard we try we can end up over watering it and killing the thing we loved the most. When the love dies people get desperate and this can led to irrarional desions and much more like how in Romeo and Juliet they killed themsleves because they thought the other was dead.

Therapist’s Note

I finally got to see what my therapists wrote on the paper. It had been killing me since she had done it. The paper said "He still in love and is trying to do things outside of his charcter." That really hit home for me like yes I stilled loved her but its not like I would sacrifice my own health just for her. Or would I, the more I think about it the more I realize my therapist is right I'm still in love and if my ex asked me to do anything I would do it even if it meant sacrificing my own mental and physical health.

People after losing loved ones will feel like they lost a part of them. Even if the loved one didn't die. This causes people to do irrational things like drugs and alcohol. These things are are not good for your health and people who have a stable mind usually don't chose to do drugs or alcohol.

This person was in love and when they were broken up with they felt sad. They wanted to express their emotions. So in order to express their emotions they created this. Which it was illegal because it was destruction of property. So the love in his life led to them doing something illegal.

Love is a crazy feeling, before you find it your life is black and white. But once you find it brings the color and the joy. But when you lose the loved one your life goes back to black and white but now you know how it feels to see in color. This lack of color or joy in your life can lead to depression and people expressing themselves through listening to music. This can lead to irrational decisions like doing drugs or trying to do other things to find the joy and when that runs out even worse things can happen like suicide.
