He normally praised the god known as amun-ra or just “Ra”

He had strong beliefs much like other pharaohs which led him to be successful and well praised by his people.

Many infrastructure projects were completed during his time as pharaoh such as temples, buildings and even cities

He was only enabling praising of the gods in temples that were built

Originally constructed by his father Seti I the temple consists of many corridors and hallways decorated with ancient memorabilia, The hypostyle hall, The great court, the avenue of sphinxes and the sacred lake.

He had powerful authority over the people which lead him to be highly respected he had An aura of authority leading his army and managing the economy.

If he reined in the 19th dynasty and wasn't the last pharaoh of the dynasty, even without supporting evidence we can say he did an ok job as egypt prospered between the 18th to 20th dynasty

His reign was also 66 years the second longest of any pharoah and his government was very successful

He engaged in many military campaigns to expand and protect egypt’s territory, most famously the battle of kadesh were ramses lead his army into battle in an attempt to recapture the city of kadesh from the hittites (an eastern european civilization) and claim more territory in syria. The battle famously ended in the oldest known peace treaty ever.
