Öğrencilerimizle birlikte geri dönüşüm kutuları yaptık ve sınıfımıza koyduk. Bunlar kağıt, plastik ve cam atık kutuları. Daha sonra öğrenciler kağıt, plastik ve cam toplayarak bunları ilgili kutulara attılar. Görev başarılı :)

In the April activity, we participated with our students in the Recycling Challenge and made sure to inform the community that our school functions as a recycling center. As a result, teachers from the school and some local residents responded and brought us items for recycling. We counted and sorted them into the appropriate recycling bins, appointing one student as the bin organizer and another as the bottle counter.

Then, using Google Sheets, we created a simple bar chart so that the students could visually understand size differences such as big/small and more/less. This was a very helpful activity for practicing basic material sorting and simple understanding of quantities

We are learning about the importance of waste sorting, practicing recycling, and taking care of our environment.

In April, inspired by Earth Day, the students took part in an educational activity focused on waste sorting.

🧠 Through teamwork and hands-on sorting of different types of waste, the children learned why it's important to care for the environment and how each of us can make a difference.

🤝 The activity encouraged cooperation, responsibility, and respect for nature – a real lesson learned with both hands and heart!
