         <description><![CDATA[<div>When the Batavia crashed 40 people drowned trying to get to the island, <strong>Fransico Pelsaert </strong>decided he would go to the mainland to look for help leaving <strong>Jeronimus Cornelisz</strong> in charge. <strong>Jeronimus</strong> would soon become to powerful and persuasive wanting to get off the island by any means even hijacking a passing by ship.<br>he became weary of anyone he thought would harm him or take away his power and ordered his brain washed men into killing hundreds of men, women and even children.</div>]]></description>
