I'm Nilay DOKUR. I am an English teacher for then years now. I live on the south coast of Turkey in Mersin. It is a beautiful and sunny city. As I am a secondary school teacher ı want my students to understand the importance of learning a new language by motivating them with eTwinning projects. I believe that when they see they can use the language other than their schools, they voluntarily start to learn it. I like exploring new places and cultures, tasting different meals and also like trying them.

My name is Frankie Goovaerts and I'm a biology teacher at GO! Atheneum MXM (Belgium).

I studied biology at the university of Antwerp, because I was fascinated with animals, DNA and evolution since I was a kid. After my studies I started my career at the sampling labo in Umicore. This big company specialises in recycling metals out of electronical devices. It plays a big role in urban mining with recycling precious and expensive metals.

After a couple of years I switched my career to teaching, because I wanted to make a bigger difference and motivate young people to focus on science and be part of the change.
