It usually takes around 3 hours to set up or take down.  It has a roof that is usually carpet and they are usually red or white colored. They are very sturdy in extreme weather conditions, because it is circular and can break wind from any direction. The circular shape also helps with the temperature inside. It is usually the perfect temperature inside. And when it is rainy outside they dig a hole around the yurt to keep it from slipping away.
