students earn tally marks for activities done in class: checking in on time- participation- submitting work on time... once they earn 10 tally marks, they get into a drawing for a prize on Friday. They can earn an entry for each 10 tally marks.

Tutorial Videos

There are teachers that create short tutorial videos on their lessons to help with step by step directions. This helps students virtually (who may have sound issues) to still get the instruction. Also helps f2f students if movement is limited in the classroom

Anything to get them working together - collaborative google slides or jamboard in breakout rooms. Nearpod, Kahoot, etc. Scavenger hunts of household items.

I introduced this to our AVID teachers. It helps with classroom discussion when you have concurrent students. Has sentence starters for students for kids when they are trying to think of discussion points.

Here's an example of a Pixel Art. It should show you the finished picture. Take out all the answers. It will erase the image. As you answer the questions, it auto fills in the picture.
