He is the son of the witch Sycorax who died and left him alone. When Prospero shows up he is treated like family until he tries to sexually assault Maranda, after that he is treated like a slave and wants revenge.

Ferdinand

He is a prince on the ship when the storm comes. He swims to the island and instantly falls in love with Miranda. Prospero is skeptical and makes him a slave until he proves his worth and is released to marry Miranda.

Trinculo

He is a jester for the king and was on the ship when it wrecked, when he gets ashore he meets Caliban and ends up joining forces with him to kill Prospero.

Stephano

Alonso

He is king and supports Antonio usurping his brother Prospero. He and all of his ships get wrecked in the tempest and they wash onto Prospero's island. On the island he thinks his son is dead but is overjoyed to find him alive and marrying Miranda, he also gives the dukedom back to Prospero.
