Respect is where you don’t talk back to the teachers and act in a kindly manner towards them. It is also a thing where that old quote we have been hearing for most of our lives comes into play; treat others the way you want to be treated.
Respect isn’t where you are not acknowledging your teacher, peers, and using materials around the room in obnoxious manners and breaking them. Often times around the classroom students will misuse materials and talk back to teachers, which is a prime example of being disrespectful.

Respect is when you treat someone’s how they should be treated. You wouldn’t be mean or you wouldn’t be showing respect. An example of respect I say when the person is talking and you stop and focus on them and don’t talk over them. Another example would be when you are in a class and you don’t destroy or deface the school’s property. A counter example would be when a peer is answering a question and you talk to your friends.

Respect is a lot of things, it’s showing appreciation for your peers and elders. But it’s also the aspect of knowing what to do without being asked and doing the right thing always. One example is if you’re in a situation where you’re not being watched but you still know to do the right thing. Also if someone gives you something you use then give back. And you treat it well and break it or damage it that would be showing respect to that person or object.
