This is verifiable because we are able to check the number of people who were killed and injured. At the same time, we are able to check where the incident happened by researching the incident that happened.

This is a direct evidence because the shooter live streamed the mass shooting and upload it on his Facebook. He also took responsibility of the shooting. There is no further inference needed to support my evidence.

This is a circumstantial evidence because the man HEARD 5 gunshot and this does not necessarily means its a gunshot, it could be a car accident, explosion, fire cracker. He did not specifically said that he saw a Friday prayer-goer returned fire.
