However, Odhiambo (2006) stated that there is shortage of Math teachers in Kenya unlike urban schools where the problem isn't outlined. This means that the performance of mathematics Is declining or decreasing.

(2) some teachers' attitude towards their students in school may affect there achievements in and attitude toward the subject.

(3) Teachers personality towards Maths plays a very important role in a child's development. However, the attitude of the teacher put a negative or positive impact on the students whether they want to learn or not. Lastly,
a teacher should be always prepared to teach a subject given and all requirements should be met.

Comparison Kenya and Jamaica :
*shortage of mathematics teachers due to monthly salary
* Mathematics specialts need assist with the learning of mathematics education in Jamaica.
* students poor attitude and performance in Mathematics

MalaysiaGroup members: Wayanne JulalNkosi LorneShamoya WatsonMAIN POINTS:- Mathematics is one of the most important core subject in a school curriculum and is really likely to be taught in schools and colleges throughout the world than any other subject (compulsory worldwide).-	Students’ attitude towards mathematics is a major influence on their performance. Attitude can be defined as a summary evaluation of an object of thought (thinking that mathematics is difficult and they cannot do it) fearful.-	Attributes are:- cognitive (beliefs, thoughts, attributes), affective (feelings, emotions), behavioural information (past events, experiences). -	Teacher & teaching:- classroom management, content knowledge, materials used and learning mathematics, teaching methods. Comparison with the Jamaican classrooms. Because the classes are big , students do end up getting left behind. Some even feel very disinterested in the subject because they don’t get as much attention as they feel would be adequate. Also the lack of passion shown by the teacher can affect how a child learn.
