Questo articolo e riguarda nel recente movimento di facismo in italia. Nel mese di settembre, in Italia si sono svolte le elezioni e un partito politico con legami con Mussolini ha vinto. Il partito politico si chiama I fratelli d’italia e guidato da Giorgia Meloni. Queste elezioni è un grande vittoria per facismo è l’estrema destra. Il corrente sistema politico impedisce pieno controllo sul paese, ma loro obiettivi rimangono gli stessi e loro sono ancora pericolosi. I fratelli d’italia viena da un partito politico si chiama MSI “Movimento sociale italiano” o “Mussolini sei immortale”. MSI è stato fondato nel 1945 poco dopo WW2.

This article talks about the situation regarding one of italy’s largest public networks, RAI or Radiotelevisione italiana. It accuses the current prime minister of italy, Giorgia Meloni of attempting to influence and/or bias the network and what is projected from it. Some people think she is turning the network into a propaganda machine for the far right, especially in election such as this one. The european green party filed an appeal after the network voted to allow rallies be broadcasted raw and uncut. AGCOM or Autorità per le Garanzie nelle comunicazioni, a national telecommunication regulatory body for the country, rejected the proposal to allow ministers unrestricted air time during the campaign period. This would give ruling parties unlimited time to push whatever agendas they want, whenever they want with no outside party governing over them. Clearly, the sitting party and ministers will have the advantage in elections when they have unlimited range and air time as they can disperse whatever messages they please, while the non-ruling party doesn't have the ability to reach the same amount of people.

The second article talks about melonis approach to climate change. When contrasted with American right wing efforts, we find that politicians will often either outright deny the existence of climate change or deny/downplay the seriousness of its effects. Meloni is taking a different approach from her right wing American counterparts as well as from the left wing in general. She is against policies as left as those proposed and supported by greta thunberg as evidenced by her words here “Greta thunbergs ideology will lead us to lose thousands of companies and millions of jobs in europe”. Meloni is pushing for action regarding climate change with a business savvy approach:"We must collectively do much more to combat the threat of climate change," and adds: "We will not achieve these aims by harming the economy or through an exclusively state-led approach. We need to harness the expertise and creativity of businesses and entrepreneurs." Though she has spoken about these ideas, not much has been achieved materially in terms of these goals. With italy's geography and location, it is very vulnerable to climate change and rising sea levels that come along with it as they have 4,900 miles of coastline.

Per il mio progetto digitale culturale, ho scelto un movimento sociale. Voglio concentrarmi il ritorno del movimento fascismo negli ultimi anni. Questo è qualcosa che trovo interessante perché io voglio visitare l'Italia, e sono preoccupato per la mia esperienza. Ho sentito articolo storie di persone di colore maltrattate, e come una persona di colore mi preoccupa. Io voglio fare una ricerca sullo stato sociale prima della visita. Esaminerò anche gli approcci ambientali e politici dell’estrema destra. Lo scorso mese, un gruppo ha protestato fuori dalla sede centrale di un ex gruppo fascista a roma.
