Big idea 
- Because of the power of indwelling sin residing in us, the law could not break us free from it (Romans 7:6, 8:4), only through Christ can we be delivered from it's rule and reign.

- He paints a very close relationship with sin and law to describe what the law could do, which is to reveal sin and be used as an instrument for sin because of the flesh. Thereby, showing how the law could only amplify sin and not break us free from the power of it.
