John D. Rockefeller was born on July 8th, 1839. Rockefeller married Laura Spelman and they created a wonderful family together. Rockefeller opened up 'Rockefeller and Andrews Oil Company' in 1865. Rockefeller hired chemists to try and find a more efficient way to extract oil without producing a lot of waste.
