A little about me: I’m a DIY enthusiast, which means if there is something that can be fixed, build, or crafted- I’m all in! To me DIY is not just about making cool stuff; it is like life’s way of saying, “Hey, you’ve got this!” It’s all about tackling challenges head-on and learning a ton along the way. Plus it is a great mental exercise for me to heal myself whenever I’m low.

Also, huge fan of sunset, walk in woods. There is just something magical about them like nature’s way of showing off after a long day. And when it comes to music, I am pretty easy-going. As long as it sounds good I am Vibing to it.

So, this is pretty much about me. Looking forward to getting to know all of you and working together.

Something about me:

I'm more of a nature-beach person so I never miss a chance to watch a sunset.

I love to sit at the beach, play some good music, read a book, or just enjoy the view at sunset.

The place where I want to travel the most is Europe country, I just love the architecture of that country.

That's pretty much all about me, can't wait for the fall semester to start and to work with all of you guys. ;)

I currently call Barrie home, where I enjoy exploring all the local events and hidden gems in the city. Outside of work, I’m an extrovert at heart, so you’ll often find me attending festivals, meeting new people, or just spending time at the beach. One of my core values is community—creating spaces where people feel welcomed and included is something I really care about.

As for my hopes and dreams… well, I think they revolve around traveling and learning from different cultures. A place I’d love to explore is Europe—I’m captivated by its rich history and diverse cultures.

I would call Orillia home for now because I study and work here. I love spending time with cats; I'm volunteering at a cat shelter. They are really cute! My next travel destination is Orlando; they have the biggest Disney World and Universal Studios! Hopefully I could be there next year or the year after that...still saving up :)

I want to travel worldwide and participate in thrilling activities such as skydiving, bungee jumping, and more. I am really excited about the opportunity to work with you all and meet new incredible people.

The question about hopes and dreams really got me thinking, but I still haven't come up with anything. I didn't want to delay posting any further, so I decided to post it without answering that part.😂😂😂

I’m Anmol Bhardwaj, and I’m really excited to be part of the Peer Mentor Team again this semester! I’m originally from India, but I’m currently living in Barrie while studying Computer Programming and Analysis at Georgian College. Outside of school, I’m into watching web series and movies, and playing outdoor games. My favorite web series is "How I Met Your Mother", and I’m a big fan of the movie "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani".

Helping others is something I deeply value, which is why I love being a Peer Mentor. This semester, I’m especially looking forward to organizing creative and fun events for our mentees to help them feel connected and supported.

If I could visit any place, it would be Switzerland. The breathtaking landscapes and serene atmosphere there would be a dream to experience.
