This means, it takes two sometimes a bit of a third class period to get through a lesson, especially due to the following: gaps in learning that slows down instruction, Amplify doesn’t include explicit teaching of specific skills so teachers must take time to provide mini lessons to target them, and of course shorter class periods. As a result, teachers may not be able to complete all lessons outlined in the 105 day pacing guide. How can we ensure that we are covering those lessons that will set students up for STAAR success? Is there a way to receive an even more modified version of the pacing guide?
