11/5: The Application of Business Canvas Models: Delegates will be invited to work in smaller groups and discuss their work together to foster networking and promote discussions and learning. Here the results of the canvases will be presented and the trainers will be available to assist should there be any issues.  Finally, the finished analyses can be forwarded to the relevant organisations for feedback. 

25/5: Reflect upon the Business Canvas Model from a Trainer of Trainer perspective: Delegates will be invited to apply the model in pairs using ToT source material on the relevant company, then report on the company. Each delegate will then be tasked with preparing a reflection of the process to be shared at the next session.

30/8: Clinic: This is a workshop orientated towards the lessons learnt from the Training of Trainers lab, offering the opportunity for feedback and reflection. 

Processing of personal data is regulated by EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Sida processes personal data to administer and follow-up course and event registrations, and to inform previous participants about upcoming courses and events. The data being processed are personal data such as names, employer’s name and contact details. The personal data is collected from the participants or their employers.

 

The lawful ground for processing personal data is to fulfill the contract with the participant. The lawful ground for processing personal data to follow-up and inform about upcoming courses and events is to fulfill a task of public interest.

 

 

The day will consist of two key tasks to this end, which will be described in detail:

 

During this session you shall use Mural and further develop your canvases in conference with your group. At the end of the first session we will have a plenary session where we can share our experiences.

 

The penultimate task of the day will entail 3 of the 7 groups being asked to present their chosen canvas, with a particular focus on what they have learnt about the process. The choice of groups will be made by the instructors at random. 

 

The day will then end with a reflection in the form of discussion and feedback.

 

 

In this course we have people from a variety of different places, involved in several different endeavours. There are, therefore, a number of different contexts. Bearing in mind your experience of using the canvas, both individually and within your group, reflect upon how you will make what you have learnt about using the Flourishing Business Canvas applicable to those who you would like to train in your context. This could be companies, trainers, or colleagues within other development organisations
