A plane crashed into the North Twin Tower at 8:46 a.m on Tuesday, September 11th. The citizens of New York looked on in horror. At first, they thought that it was just an accident. But that theory was soon squashed, as 20 minutes later, a second plane crashed into the South Twin Tower. It became clear that New York was under attack. Later that morning, a third hijacked plane crashed into the Pentagon, and a fourth plane crashed in an empty field. Studies show that the fourth plane's passengers realized what was going on and quickly overcame the terrorists. No one survived, but the passengers are remembered for their bravery. Back in New York, the South Twin Tower collapsed. Soon after, the North Twin Tower collapsed, sending the citizens of New York into even more of a frenzy than before.
