This is a transform boundary, a transform boundary is where two of Earth's tectonic plates slide, or move past on another. As these plates move past one another the two plates can create cracks of faults within the surrounding area. It is unique from the other two boundaries because, can create earthquakes, and it is the only boundary that the two plates slide against each other.

A convergent boundary is when there is two tectonic plates and they move toward one another. These collisions can happen between any two plates, plates such as: oceanic and continental, continental and continental, and ocean and ocean. If two plates collide and one is denser than the other it will sink beneath the other plate, this would be called subduction. If two plates that are the same density collided, then they would buckle up against each other, and would cause mountain ranges to form.

What a divergent boundary is. A divergent boundary is when the two plates move away from each other, or diverge. As the two plates move apart, the tension in the lithosphere increases, which causes it to thin out. This allows magma to flow from the lithosphere to the surface. That magma then comes out of the cracks and cools, and hardens. But while new land is being made with the hardened magma, land is being destroyed in subduction zones when one plate sinks under another and eventually melts.
