Reduced waste through efficient controlled manufacturing

Timber can be put up in any weather conditions
Fast heating due to thermal mass
Dry form of construction
Prefabrication can reduce labour time on site

Disadvantages:
Combustibility of timber requires alot of quality control to achieve the required fire safety level.
Exposure to weather conditions may damage the timber
Eventually it will rot.
Wood boaring insects
Transportation of the timber can be a lengthy process
