This book showed that not everyone is happy with where they are, but if you look at the positive side you are able to see that you have the best life you could imagine. I like that it points out that there are flaws in every life, but that it is in fact your flawed life! It also shows that no matter what you must love yourself for who you are. This would be a good book for students who like books that have a happy ending. I could use this to teach students that you must accept your flaws and love yourself and your life regardless of what others have around you.

In the story, Tinka and her friend the crowe, set out on an adventure to prove tiny Tinka's worth to the bigger sheep. I like that Tinka is not afraid of her size and still has a sense of adventure inside of her. In the end Tinka earns all of the bigger sheeps friendships, but she ends up wanting to be alone in her own bed. This book would be good for students who like books about adventures and friendship. I could use this to teach students to never let others put you down when you know you can do more.

This story shows how hard it is when a friend moves away. I likes that it showed the emotions, but then showed that you will make a new friend and that is also okay. This would be a good book for students who like to read about friendships. I could use this to teach my students that when our friends move away we can be sad, but we can also make new friends. I can use it to show them that it is not betrayal, but that it is healthy to make new friends!

This would be a good book for students who are interested in other cultures. I could use this book to teach a lesson on Ghandi himself and how peaceful he was. I could also use it to bring cultural relevancy into the classroom during geography class.

This book interested me because of my love for sharks. I love how it focused on if sharks were eradicated, the whole ocean would be thrown off, and therefore we would also be at a loss. It showed the importance of treating our sharks and ocean with care, so that they both will be around forever. This book would be good for students who are interested in the ocean or sharks. I could use this book to teach a lesson on why keeping the environment and ocean clean is so crucial and important.

This book was written like a story and had facts about the Orsay Mueseum throughout. I liked how it was an easy read, but also made you feel like you were taking a walk and seeing paintings such as the Water Lillies. This would be a good book for students interested in art. I could use this book to teach a lesson on art in the classroom. We could even tie it to a Language Arts goal.

I loved that Mary did not give up on her colors no matter how much her male coworkers said no and told her that she was ridiculous for loving color. She kept up her dream until she got put onto a project all by herself and created the beautifulThis would be a good book for students who love Disney or reading about hardworking women. She won the contest, but was torn down and fought by the other designers since she was just a student. She, however, did not give up. She fought back just as hard. This would be a good book for students that are interested in architecture. I could use this to teach my students to believe in their work and in themselves.
